I rented a vehicle on Thursday and returned it Sunday at 8 p.m., even though it wasn’t due back until Monday at 8 a.m. I used my reward points for this rental and expected some type of adjustment or credit for returning it early. Instead, I was told it didn’t matter — the same number of points would be deducted whether I brought it back Sunday night or Monday morning. That makes no sense. If customers return vehicles early, Enterprise should recognize that effort and adjust the cost or points accordingly. It feels unfair and like the rewards system doesn’t actually reward loyal customers. I’ve been a returning customer, but this experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope Enterprise takes this kind of feedback seriously and rethinks how they handle early returns and reward redemptions.
