Most of my The staff is great, but ever since Maverik took over it has been a mess. Make sure you’re checking your receipts at the self checkout. I got charged for four bags of
Peanut m&m’s when I was only trying to buy two. I didn’t even leave the store before I noticed the charge and went immediately to the next clerk to show them that the machine had charged me four times instead of twice and he told me it’s maveriks policy to not refund any money on food items even though it was their machine that over charged me. This is crazy! Makes me wonder how many people have been overcharged from the self checkout and didn’t even realize it. I tried to argue that it was the machines fault not mine and he refused to give me a refund. I will attach my receipt for proof. As you can see in my photos none of the candy had been opened or messed with anyway and I was still refused a refund. It would have been no different than someone putting by something they didn’t want, but instead they got over $6.00 of my money.
