  Definitely buy a travel trailer, just dont buy it from Camping World. Purchased travel trailer from Camping World in Benton AR approximately 1 month ago. After 1st weekend trip noticed water on floor of slide along with broken door and broken recliner. Took unit back to Camping World for service a week and half ago, service manager confirmed a malfunctioning rubber seal on slide, broken recliner and door as well as possible issue with slide floor damage caused by water entry. Customer app used to communicate service progress initially assigned my service to a location in Georgia... yes Georgia! Then to no location at all which makes it much harder to locate your service #. Customer service app initially reflected all issues were near immediately resolved and only final sign off by service manager was needed. A week later all issues changed to no actual work has begun but CW was waiting for confirmation they could get paid. After no new updates for 3 day I called and asked eta for work to be completed. Was told by service manager F.W. it would be 2 weeks more... that brings it to 3.5 to 4 weeks total. Unacceptable. When asked to explain why so long I was told they don't have but a few people working service, it was best he could do. Im sorry but thats what the owners of CW want you to believe. I suggest Camping World solve their service problem by selling fewer units and only sell what they can service. This is not ok. Update 3/21/26: after speaking to service manager on 3/12 he agreed to complete the 2 service items that were not waiting for shipped parts knowing I preferred to pickup unit rather than leave it sitting at CW... promised a call the following Monday to confirm his team followed through. As of today there has been no calls... and no completed work reflecting on the automated service portal. Attempted to call CW of Benton 2x just now and heard a message thanking me for my call and to callback during normal business hours. Ummm your website posts hours till 7 pm today so I think ive done my part. Perhaps stop pretending to be responsive to customers and actually be responsive. Im standing by my phone awaiting anyone interested in making this right.
