- DLDavid LeemonMar 19, 20262.0I purchased a Blazer Trailer from Ward Brothers Motorsports in Leeds, Alabama. It is a 7X12 dove tail unit. The tail gate was too short for my use. I called the Blazer plant in Grant, Alabama. I spoke with a person by the name of Todd who seemed to be the head man there. At first, I was impressed but, it went downhill. He quoted me a price to take my old gate off and build me a 6 foot gate. He kept the original gate and charged me $400.00 for the new gate. The trailer did not come with a tag light. I was told, I didn't need one by Ward Brothers Motorsports. How dumb is that? Let me tell that to the cop when I get pulled over for not having one. So, I asked Todd to please install a tag light there at the factory. So, In a couple of days, I was able to pick the trailer up. New 6 foot gate and tag light. However, the tag light was never wired up. No, I didn't check it before I left as I didn't want Todd to think I didn't trust him. I found out when I got home. So, I have called Todd several times. I have left messages but, he does not return my calls. Oh, on the day I went up to pick the trailer up, I was over halfway there and I get a text, from Todd saying, we only accept cash, no credit cards taken. So, I had a hard time finding my bank branch close to their plant. But, after a long drive, I found a location and I got cash to pay Todd. I asked why he didn't tell me this in the beginning? He just shrugged his shoulders and said, nothing. I had to fix the tag light and wire it up myself. I would not recommend purchasing any Blazer Trailers. Mine is a 2026 and rust is all over it. The paint is terrible not to mention, the customer service. I guess like so many things now, employees don't care. When companies get your money, they are done. I would not deal with Todd or Blazer anymore.
