Just had my control arms replaced and the experience was great from start to finish. The shop was honest, professional, and kept me updated throughout the process. My car drives noticeably smoother now and no more clunking or loose steering. They got the job done quickly and at a fair price. Definitely recommend them if you need suspension work done. Peyton was awesome!!!

This place is great! They communicate and explain things in a way you can understand about your vehicle. Dylan helped me today and was fantastic. I highly recommend Mavis off of Rice Mine Rd.

Peyton was outstanding! I called the number for the store and it went to a call center. They told me to come to the store immediately and they’d finish in about an hour. When I arrived that wasn’t the case. I was limited on my available time and Peyton was able to make it happen! I’ll definitely come back for all my automotive needs.

I went in on a Sunday in November for an oil change. They had great reviews, and it’s an easy mechanical job, so I was comfortable taking my car to them. I came in to find the mechanics playing basketball. Anyways, the job gets done. I pay an incredibly inflated price and go on my way. Around 4 months later, I’m getting my oil changed again because it’s time. The sticker didn’t have a date on it, and the mileage is written in faded pen. Whatever… my regular mechanic will not change my oil because he sees an oil leak. He tells me to go back to the place I last had it done. So I go back. I had the receipt. I was very professional. I go in, and the person working the desk doesn’t even look at it. He goes straight to my car and checks the oil. He comes back in and shows me the oil gauge and claims that it’s not leaking. I tell him the last place I was at topped it off with a quart of oil. He takes it into the shop. They look at it for about 10 minutes. They bring me back and basically tell me in overly complicated jargon that it will be a $3000 fix and they are not responsible in any way. They said if they were me, they would not get it done right then-just wait. They were nice enough I thought. I tell them I have car shield and the front desk worker says he’s “not a mechanic” but that he would use it. They tell me I can come in for the next couple weeks for them to check it, but it’s not a lot of oil to leak, so don’t worry about it. A week later, I’m told by the auto shop that works with car shield that I had over $2,000 in damages and that Mavis is responsible for $600 worth of the damages because the oil cap was cross threaded when it was put back on. They do not specialize in oil changes, but it is a simple mechanical job. I expected more… Take this account with your own discretion.
