The installer cut the Mic wire for my hands free aftermarket stereo system. He had to remove it to install windshield and he had to have seen the cut wire. I was not informed of his mistake and did not know until I drove the vehicle. When I contacted Safelite they wanted me to bring the truck by one of their shops. This was not convenient for me. We could not get an agent out here to review at my home in a timely manner. They needed to review the damage. I ordered a new mic for $30 from kenwood/JVC and will repair myself. Customer service really let me down. Word of advice if you have an expensive after market stereo be sure to remove Mic and other equipment from front of headliner if the edge is close to the Windshield.
