The technicians do their best and I can’t really fault them because they are only doing what they are told. 1. 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee, small crack they said could not be repaired. Multiple trips and I requested an OEM windshield, only for them to use an aftermarket one. They didn’t reattach my windshield wipers. Two weeks later the rear mirror fell off. Nobody answers the phone at the Macon GA shop. Technician finally scheduled to come fix the mirror but called at the end of the 12-5 window and said he would be there at 7pm. I told him to forget it. My husband fixed the mirror. 2. 2020 RAM 2500, major crack occurred on a trip from GA to AL. Scheduled technician online to come the following Monday. He shows up and says “oh, we didn’t bring the right windshield”. We had to wait 5 more days for him to come back with the right one. It’s unfortunate that Safelite pretty much has the monopoly on windshield repair. Do better!
