  Give the guy that opened the shop a raise! Wish I would’ve gotten his name. Young guy, black hair. Very timely and nonjudgmental of my passenger floorboard.

  I visited the american lube on 12/22/25 for a overly priced oil change after I picked up my car, the oil light was still on. So I returned to the American lube where the manager Melissa, who has absolutely no mechanical knowledge, told me that she needs a special tool to turn off my oil light. This was not told to me at purchase, this was not told to me at pick up not even told to come back the next day. When someone who knows how to do it can, so I set out in the parking lot for an extra 10 to 15 minutes as a guy tried to YouTube how to turn my oil light off. He never got the light off.May I add

  I went here for an oil change yesterday , and they put the wrong oil in my car, which caused it to start smoking. I had to take my vehicle to another company to fix their mistake. This place was very unprofessional, and the staff was rude with bad attitudes. If you don’t like your job, you’re in the wrong field. Especially disappointed with Mr. Allen and Ms. Malissa.

  Very impressed with the service from Allen and the crew he has. I went in for an oil change and was not disappointed with the communication from Allen . He personally did my oil change because I just don’t trust anybody with my car especially because I travel for work so my maintenance has to be done by someone I think knows what they are doing. I usually don’t trust chain oil change shops due to past experiences but I was willing to give this place a chance due to the circumstances I was dealing with. He even showed me my old oil filter and ensured me I was getting what I was paying for. They topped off my fluids and checked my car basics like turn signals and brake lights. I even bought them some donuts because I was very impressed with Allen’s work ethic . You don’t have to worry about the guys in this shop. I was traveling from Texas to Mobile for work and my car needed an oil change . So glad I went to American lube in Saraland Alabama. I was even asking them basic car questions and they didn’t fail to answer my questions correctly. Melissa was very professional and her service was fast . Bring your car to this shop Allen knows what the hell he is doing here and so does his team . Allen if you read this I really appreciate your no bullshit and straight to the point approach. Thanks
