He tested the battery, and determined that the issue was the alternator. He went above and beyond to ensure that the car could get back onto the road safely. Truly don’t know what we’d do without his help. He was super knowledgeable and all-around a great guy! Thanks again legend.

I usually don't get much help at the other places. I'm definitely going to keep going there. BONUS TIP: Join the rewards program...I got $20 credit to use towards my purchase.

When I told him what I was looking for, he asked “What vehicle?”, and I answered “Home made utility trailer. I brought one of the regular nuts.” His response was “We may be here all day looking,” which was a pretty effective way of making a customer wish he’d chosen the other nearby parts store. It’s also a great way for an employee to share how little he values his job. It’s also absurd, because there’s only a handful of possible sizes and there was a thread-checking tool right at the display. Thankfully (for me, at least), we found what I needed in about 60 seconds. 3 stars for actually having the product, decent price and fast checkout. It would have been an easy 5 stars, if, instead of lamenting how much work it would be to find what I needed, he chose something simple like “Let’s see what we have.” It takes so little effort to be polite and professional, costs nothing, and everyone has a better experience as a result. I hope this AutoZone associate (and his supervisor) find their reasons to appreciate the value of walk-in customers.
