  This was the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. The employees’ attitudes, the lack of communication, and the overall runaround between corporate and the local office were unbelievable. When I first booked the car, I was told I could use two separate cards for the deposit. The next day when I called to confirm, I was told that wasn’t allowed. I then called corporate and was told it was allowed. Based on that, I rebooked with a debit card, only to be told I’d need to provide a W-2, paystub, bank statement, etc. What am I renting here, a G-Wagon? When I finally received the vehicle, it was absolutely filthy inside. To make matters worse, when I picked up the keys, the employee was on the phone with (what sounded like) another Budget employee and was clearly upset that I had rebooked this particular car. When I tried to pay with my debit card, I was told I needed proof of insurance, which I was fine with. At first, I was told the only insurance they don’t accept is Safeway. After filling out the paperwork, the same employee suddenly told me they don’t accept Direct Auto either. Completely inconsistent and unprofessional. Corporate told me I would be contacted by the general manager or the private location’s owner within 7 business days, yet here I am with no call, no follow-up, and no resolution. I called today to receive an update and was told they do not have a time frame of when I will receive a call back now.. not to mention when I picked up the car, the employee stated don’t bring sand back into the rental otherwise you will be charged.. IT WAS SAND IN THE VEHICLE ALREADY! I will never rent from this company again. 1 & DONE! Between the employee attitude, the dirty vehicle, and the total lack of consistency between corporate and the local office, this has been the worst company I have ever dealt with.

  made a reservation online which they double charged me for. went to pick up vehicle and was told I couldn't because the credit card was in my mother's name not mine which was done because they wouldn't accept my debit card. had no problem takin my money with my name on the reservation and her name listed as cardholder online. so the system knew they didnt match but wasn't a problem to take my money then. but the moment I try to actually pick up the car its a problem. im just tryna get a rental to head to Sebring FL cause my father who drives a truck for a living had a heart attack and is sitting in a hospital with nobody around and they don't kno if he's gonna make it but unfortunately im gettin the run around for a damn car. something that should be as simple as any other purchase. give ID, pay money, receive service. pretty simple concept made way harder then it needs to be and nobody wants to talk to me about it. reached out to corp with response and ppl saying they "sent it up the ladder". guess I'll have to wait for my father to actually die before I get any kind of help

  Miss Mona helped me. She was very nice and was able to get me a good car even though we had A problem with the first two cars, she helped me to get a good replacement. The checkout process was fast and simple. I’m very thankful for the great Customer Service
