Safelite AutoGlass is one of the best companies to replace windows in a vehicle. They offer a lifetime warranty on the windows they replace.

I would not recommend them to anyone. I’m very Dissatisfied. The technicians did a good job, so it’s not their fault! Its the Receptionist office aid thatdid not Do a good job. They’re acting like I Didn’t pay when I paid upfront and they swiped my card. The transaction is even pending on my account, but they act like I didn’t pay. I will never recommend them

I was on an out of town trip when I got a rock chip in my brand new cars windshield. These guys got me in same day, and explained the risk that it might get worse if they try to repair it. It turned out perfect and can barely tell anything was done! Even cleaned the inside of the glass for me!

They are not aboveboard at all. Had windshield replaced, they had wrong glue for review mirror, drove a week without one, and found out recently in a car wash that windshield leaks at top (and I have a good video of it leaking). So call and they come out to fix, but they “discover” a small crack in a place nowhere near the leak and say they can’t do anything about it (although it was original work that seems to be leaking). Other branches may be ok, but this one seems sketch. Avoid at all cost!

My choices were to wait 10 days for them to come out to replace my glass, or drive to a different town on my own time and wait an hour for them to fix it. But the worst is their additional “recycling fee” which they add to everyone’s tab. It has nothing to do with recycling. It’s just an extra slice of profit they take from you, like when the airline charges you for your checked baggage. If it truly were a legitimate cost it should be part of the price they quote. Imagine if the cab driver told you “the fare is $20, plus an extra $5 for gas.” It’s the same thing. Recycling the broken glass should be part of the quoted price. But safelite charge it separately because it really increases their already-excessive price, and if they included it up front you’d probably freak out. So no, safelite, you did not exceed my expectations. Quite the opposite in fact. I had to take a chunk of time out of my day to drive to the next town and be charged way too much, plus having my intelligence insulted by your contrived “recycling” story. I fully expect that if you respond to this at all it will be with boilerplate corporate platitudes about how you value your customers and you regret not meeting my expectations. What I’d really like is for you to be honest about your prices. And maybe offer an actual service, where you go out to people’s homes to fix their auto glass. By the way, for the $430.00 they charged me they couldn’t even be bothered to vacuum the glass out of my car. PS - As I predicted, safelite’s response is basically “we don’t really care because we already got your money.” They didn’t bother to address any of my complaints. My advice: go somewhere else.
