There was damage to the front bumper and the headlights. Joe Hudson came out and picked my SUV up by towing it to their shop around the 21st of October. My vehicle was ready for pickup on the 7th of January 2026. My SUV looked great! It drives like it was never involved in any collision. The truck was put back together and the vehicle was detailed. I would definitely recommend Joe Hudson for your repair needs.

Debra at the front desk was excellent - friendly, helpful, and professional. That said, there are a couple of areas where the experience could be improved. My estimated completion date was changed four different times. Each time, I had to call a day or two later to find out the car still wasn’t ready and get another estimated completion. I feel that if a promised date is missed, the shop should proactively contact the customer rather than waiting for the customer to call every time. Delivery was 2 weeks after the original estimate. Total time at the shop was a month. Another issue came up at pickup: my car battery was dead. I had no battery problems prior to bringing the car in. The staff jumped it and said it should recharge while driving, but it didn’t. When I called back, I was told a battery was “normal wear and tear” and that insurance wouldn’t cover it even though the battery failed while the car was in their care. That explanation felt a bit weak, even if it’s standard practice in the industry. The worker made no attempt to offer another option or assume any responsibility. I expected: - proactive updates - follow-through on commitments - shared responsibility JHCC delivered: - reactive communication - moving targets - zero ownership beyond policy In summary, the repair work itself was good 4 stars and the front-desk service was great 5 stars, but communication around scheduling 2 stars and handling the battery issue could be improved 2 stars.
