- DMDan MartinDec 29, 20251.0I have my own parts catalog so when I get parts I already have the number. I deeply deeply resent the arrogance and difficulty presented by a parts person who tells me he won't give me a part number so that I can figure out whether I'm already looking at the right one or not. Don't ever treat me like I'm intruding when I am asking for basic information that I can already get without your help. Don't act like you've got prized information when I've already got the same parts catalog you do -- and for that matter don't act like you're too good to help people. I found this dealer's practice on the telephone so distasteful that I will not give this location my business.
