He was frowned up as I entered and as I left. I didn’t get a sticker reminder to let me know when to come back no windshield wiper fluid and an ink pen was left under my hood. I’ll never come back. Government st Mavis is top tier . I also called them to see if the oil change came with the windshield wiper fluid and the same guy responded “it can”😒 so I stopped by take five to get it instead of going back there. And the ink under the hood baffled me I can tell they rushed
- GGGraceOct 15, 20251.0I had an appointment for 10am to get one tire changed. The quote I was given before coming in was $162+ tax for 1 tire. I entered and Emmanuel C started checking me in. He said something to me- it was mumbled and I couldn’t make out what he said. When I go to ask him to repeat what he said- his personal phone rings. He says it’s his GM and he has to take this. He answers and walks away to the back. A lady comes out a couple minutes later and asks if I’ve been helped. I said yes, but he went to answer his phone. She rolls her eyes at her co workers behavior and starts to check me in. Emmanuel C came back in shortly after and I listen to their conversation. Emmanuel Cs GM was calling to let him know that his HR case was all good. That it wouldn’t be too long before it was resolved- I would hope your GM would understand if you didn’t answer because you were with a customer when they called. Anyways, they take my car back. About 45 minutes later Emmanuel C comes out and says that 2 of my lug nuts were swollen. I asked him how much it would cost. He said he would find out and walked away. In the mean time I reached out to someone, and they said they would replace what wasn’t necessary to drive away from Mavis after I bought new lug nuts online. Emmanuel C comes back and says it’ll be around $340 total(including tire and installation). They were charging me $29.99 per lug nut! I understand there is a markup, but that is ridiculous (the ones I bought online were 20 for $20) I told them I had someone to replace the other 3 when I got home, so just do what’s necessary. He said they already changed all of them. I told him I don’t have that much money on me. He half laughed and said the lug nuts were swollen and I should’ve gotten them changed sooner. Thankfully he gave me a “discount”. I understand that this is an issue with ford. I understand that I should’ve been more aware with my tire. But that price is insane and Emmanuel C. was very unprofessional. Finally after 1.75 hours my one tire was changed.
