She had an appt time to call for a job and they allowed her to use their phone to get her interview. Some people need that understanding and not that judging bc one day real soon a lot more of us are going to be in this similar situation. She wasn’t asking for money. Just a phone to secure a job interview. This has always been an excellent location, but this went above and beyond. I hope they know who they are and I want to thank them for their gentle kindness to this young lady.

My good friend who accompanied me was familiar with the process. After purchasing an almost $250 battery, I was told that due to company policy, he would not be able to install it because of the rainy weather(it wasn't raining at the time). In addition, it would take more than 15 minutes and suggest I come back later on that evening or get someone to install it. I was dumbfounded! He proceeded to place the battery on the floor of my vehicle, at which point my friend headed back inside the store. She immediately explained my situation to two other male employees, and they immediately sprang into action to assist me. I was very appreciative of the help they extended to me. However, I was very disappointed that I didn't receive the same urgency initially. Had my friend not been there, I would have left still needing a jump off and someone to install the battery. I was very disturbed by the lack of empathy and customer service I initially received. However, I was very thankful to the other employees who stepped up to help and turned that situation around. I witnessed firsthand how women can be mistreated and taken advantage of in those unfamiliar situations.
