  Got a loaded Hyundai Santa Fe, it was OK...but not close to my Honda CR-V. My biggest complaint was I contracted through Priceline and bought their insurance...when I got to the counter...the agent claimed he had no record, so being late at night and very tired, I bought their insurance. Probably my fault...but mentioning for others 411.

  The car was very clean and ran well. We did encounter one minor is the low oil light came on and we were near the top of the mountain in Pidgion Forge Tennessee. Had to come back down and attempt to contact customer service. When that failed I purchased 2 quarts of 30wt. Put on quart in and left the other in the back. The oil light went off and no other issues happened. Please check before renting because we were in bad place to find oil.

  Once I figured out where to stand in line, which was not clear (because there was no one at the Alamo desk, but there were people at the other companies' desks) it was easy and low-stress to rent a car from this Alamo location at the Mobile Regional Airport. After a brief interrogation and ID check, I was shown where the car is, and got the key fob from the worker. The staff were both friendly and efficient. There was no vehicle inspection or actual physical paperwork needed. Similarly, when returning the car, I simply parked in a spot labelled with the Alamo name and handed the key to the attendant. You might have to look for a while to find the right spot though, as the signs are old and heavily weathered. It was easier for me to search for a convenient spot sporting the company name painted on the pavement. By the way, if you're renting a newer Toyota, you may have to push a button on the key fob in order to make the key unfold.
