- BEBetty ElliottNov 12, 20251.0Went to this store on 11/11 around 3pm for a new battery, female clerk told me that they couldn’t install it, even though signs in the window say free installation, went to O’Rilleys and $253.00 and twenty minutes later I was on the road! Advance just lost a customer and O’Rilleys just gained one!!
- SWSean WinchesterOct 1, 20251.0I arrived there at 7pm and asked for them to do a battery check. They refused saying it was too late and if I bought a battery they wouldn't install it. So I went next door to O'Reillys wher they ran a diagnostic and replaced the battery immediately.

One of the staff members was out in the rain helping me identify the issue. Went out of their way to make sure my issue got resolved. Autozone told me that I needed to go to a tire shop(I didnt). Thanks !!

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
