- RLRashawnda LacyNov 17, 20251.0On November 13, 2025, at 3:38 p.m., we visited The Sud Stop car wash. During the wash, the brushes damaged our vehicle by knocking off the passenger side mirror. We immediately reported the incident to the on-site manager, Dakota Horton, who assured us, “We will take care of you,” and collected our information. However, during a follow-up conversation with Mr. Horton on November 17, 2025, at 9:31 a.m., we were informed that our claim had been denied and that we were responsible for the damage. When we requested contact information for the District Director to escalate the matter, Mr. Horton declined to provide it and instead repeated, “Let me see what I can do.” As of today, we have not received any further communication. We have incurred a $554.00 repair bill in addition to the $29.00 car wash fee. Based on this experience, I strongly advise others to avoid The Sud Stop unless they are prepared to absorb the cost of damages resulting from the company’s equipment or negligence.
