  The guys at Mavis Tires & Brakes are amazing! They were able to help my wife get her tire fixed quick and efficiently on her Kia Sportage! They were able to locate, identify, and fix the problem in less than 30 mins. I would totally recommend service from these guys. And best part of all is that the price was reasonable.

  Asked about front break pads on an old Sierra pickup. Price quote was $250 plus tax It’s a 15-30 minute job with $40-$60 parts. This is not acceptable . -I would not do business here for a basic brake job

  I thought long and hard about this post. Here goes. I went here to get oil changes, tire rotation and alignment checks.The 1st service went okay, but was very long, 4.5 hours. I thought things would be ok and I could develop a business relationship with them. When I went back the 2nd time, service was long 4 hours again. 2 customers were angry because they couldn't get his tire service right. My gut was telling me to leave, but I really needed an oil change before travel. They did the oil change, but said they couldn't rotate my tires for some reason (parts) and wanted me to come back. I noticed that two tires were off before I left. I felt like my car was not right. I went back a week later prepping for holiday travel. A customer was irate in there & going off on the manager & staff over his vehicle, having been there 5 hours. I ignored my gut though and let them attempt to finish the previous service. I knew something was wrong going into the 2nd hour when only two of my tires were off and I heard banging coming from my vehicle service area. That extended into 4 hours when the manager and mechanic came to me and said that they could get the tires off the car because of stripped lug bolts. They said they didn't have the materials or expertise to get the tires off short of taking the wheel hub up. So they suggested I take it to another shop, at my expense, of course. They did not offer to make it right as they were the one to cause all the damage. I went to another shop the next morning. They took over 4 hours to get my tires off the car but did restore my car to normal operating order. The damage to my wallet was $747.40 and at least that much in damage to my rims. It turns out the Mavis-Meridianville mechanics who worked on my vehicle the previous two times were using air impact wrench to put the lugs back on the wheels with no regards to torque specs. He stripped and ripped two lug bolts on 1st tire and three on the 2nd tire and one lug bolt on the 3rd tire. He didn't say anything about it to his manager or me, and allowed me to drive off in a car with unsecured lug bolts. At a minimum, had I had a flat I wouldn't have been able to get the tire off to change it. Had I had to have the wheel hubs removed to get the tires off the replacement on the hubs would've been $1400 per hub plus labor. And after all of this Mavis-Meridianville has not admitted error and did not offer to make it right. I cannot recommend that anyone get service at this shop my experiences were horrible there and I will not be back to this shop. I would stay away.
