  After I bought my Ford Raptor I learned my previous carwash establishment wasn’t large enough for my Ford Raptor. Next them was Tommy’s, so I went there and their my truck fits easily with much room to spare, so hoping Tommy’s was an easy decision. Besides that, this place Rocks! The wash is excellent, and everything is provided (including clean restrooms),so I can take my time and detail the inside and touch up the outside. Took my with me, and afterwards she switched her car over to Tommy’s too, now we take advantage of the Family Plan! We come here at least 3 times a week. Tommy’s is by far the best carwash in town!

  I feel like a bait and switch victim of sorts. I went to experience this new car wash using the coupon in the mail. Using the free coupon supplied for a free “works” car wash, I was suddenly downgraded to the basic lowest wash setting because I wanted to try the car wash first before purchasing a membership, which I was seriously considering. I addressed this with one of the workers. Seems to be nice location, the workers are a little over zealous attempting to get you to sign on for a membership. I think after this experience, I’ll stick with the car wash I know best.

  Very overpriced and staff at the window was rude. I told her I had two coupons for a free wash and would come through with my car then my husband’s if it was ok. She told me that would be no problem but upon my return, wanted to charge me $40 to wash my husband’s car and refused to offer any other solutions. She took the coupon so I can not even return to use it on a different day. I’d be less upset if she told me from the beginning that doing two in one day was not an option because I made sure to ask.

  Great experience at Tommy’s Express in Madison! Zane was super helpful explaining the promotions and the car wash I was getting so I knew exactly what to expect. He took the time to answer my questions and was really friendly. Another young guy working there was also very kind and helpful to me and the other customers while I was there, offering towels, cleaning supplies, etc. It was nice to see everyone being so attentive. Kharmyn also came over to check on me during my visit to make sure everything was going well and asked if I was happy with my wash. She was very sweet and made the experience even better. I also love the idea that you can turn the vacuums on and off yourself. It’s such a smart feature and seems much more power-efficient. Overall, the whole team was great and the customer service really stood out. I’ll definitely be back!

  EDIT: I had posted this review on January 27, 2026, but learned that it was removed due to me linking their company website. I have removed the link from my review and reposted it below. I am disappointed by this behavior, just as I was disappointed how I was prompted to go through an entire claims process (one that was not completed until I had reached back out to Tommy's Express) that would have resulted in no reimbursements to my vehicle. I am especially disappointed that I was told different information than what they have posted on their website. I had a good experience the first two times I had my car go through. The workers were nice and hospitable, but the car wash failed to wash the license plate area properly. Overall, my original impressions were good. On the third time, the car wash was so violent that it bent up my rear windshield wiper. I was told I would be reached out to within 2-3 business days, but they never reached out after a week had passed until I had to reach out to them. I was disappointed that they would not pay any damages since their policy is that they do not cover damages for any vehicle older than 5 years old. The person from corporate who had reached out did not seem sympathetic at all. I later learned that the Tommy's Express agreement online (Section 10) states no liability for vehicles over 15 years old, but I was told 5 years old on the phone (which indicates either a miscommunication or a policy change). However, even if my vehicle were less than 5 years old, "all loose items (trims, wipers, mirrors, rails, etc." are not covered under their liability. During my last car wash, the car wash was so strong that my front windshield wipers lifted a bit, and my left side mirror was shifted (thankfully not broken). I was glad no further damages were made, but it is discomforting to know that these potential damages would not have been covered for any car, nor would I have gained any sympathy from them. Again, I am disappointed by the interactions regarding this whole claims process.
