- MMMary M5 days ago5.0Very friendly! I called in the morning to ask if they could change my battery for me. He said it's always tricky with EVs, but when they would definitely look at it and see what they could do. He was very nice. Unfortunately, I could not get my car to the store, but the gentleman that completed my pick up order was super helpful too. He even offered to take the battery out to my car for me.

She has an incredible positive energy, took her time to explain everything clearly, and genuinely made me feel valued as a customer. I initially walked in planning to spend about $10–$15, but because of her patience, knowledge, and engagement, I ended up placing an order of around $100. That speaks volumes about her impact. She is truly an absolute gem at this location and a major asset to your team. I would also like to share some constructive feedback. There is a tall gentleman with a beard—whom I believe may be part of the management team—who, unfortunately, has consistently lacked customer service skills during my visits. Interactions with him have often felt unnecessarily difficult when asking for assistance. Overall, thank you for employing team members like Yaivonda. Her professionalism and customer-first approach are exactly what keep customers coming back.

I picked up my online order quickly and was directed where to find the other items thay I forgot to buy online. Plus, if you get signed up, you can get Perks rewards....money towards gas purchases and discounts at the register. Great. Especially if you drive a Ford.....always needing parts. 😄 I like Fords it was just a running joke I have...

Does Advance Auto test and install batteries?
Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?
A traditional lead/acid car battery can range between $60-$120. The difference in cost comes from a variety of things, like the size of the vehicle or any special requirements needed from the battery, i.e. an increased resistant to cold or hot climates. HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
