This shop used to be good but now the due the bare minimum. They will not rotate tires as asked... my $600 full size spare was never rotated properly when I requested it every visit. They constantly forget to fill up my fluids. The last visit was the last straw, they didn't pull the blown tire off the wheel like I requested and left it in my truck. They didn't fill up my fluids, and then to to top it off, they said nothing about nest some animal built under my hood. There are chewed exposed wires. Don't trust these people.

2/13/2026 - BLUF: I do not recommend Tire Discounter but more specifically, the one on Winchester Road. Damage was caused to my vehicle during installation of ball joints and they deny any responsibility and the regional manager blame it on another shop that found the problem. They cost me $8000 and told me they won't pay for it. This has been reported to the Better Business Bureau. In May 2025, I went to Tire Discounters on Winchester Rd for front end work on my truck. They replaced the upper and lower ball joints on the front left and front right. I noticed about 2 weeks ago that one of the ball joints had a 1/2inch gap between the top and the axle. When the ball joints were removed it was determined that the Ball joints were pressed in off center due to the tool slipping (can be seen on the actual ball joints). The ball joints can now be put in and taken out by hand. It has caused damage to the axle that no longer will hold ball joints and needs to be replaced. I paid ~$1200 for just the ball joints and labor to be done and now need a new axle and new ball joints. A USED axle was quoted at $2600. Meaning that I am now out $8000 for a NEW axle and new ball joints and after paying for the ball joint I can no longer use. I called the County Line Road store (I have used both and forgot that it was actually the Winchester rd store.) and was informed that Tire Discounter will not pay for it unless they do the work to fix it. I no longer trust Tire Discounter and DO NOT want to use them to repair my truck. It appears that I am being forced to either use the same company that ruined the front end of my truck or be pay myself and for another mechanic to do the work and not be refunded at minimum for the ball joints and axle. I have receipts, pictures, the physical ball joints, and an assessment from another mechanic. I have asked to speak with the Regional Manager and am waiting for his call. I have been a repeat customer for Tire Discounter and am disappointed by this. Update 2/13/2026: The regional manager informed me that they were not going to cover any of the damages and blamed the damages on the shop I took the truck to after identifying an issue. I proved this by providing my intake notes from the shop that clearly shows I had concerns with the Ball Joints backing out. He claimed that I would not have been able to leave the Tire Discounter parking lot if it were "Truly backing out in the way its presented". I was actually able to drive 15,000 miles on it like that and he insulted my integrity. He claimed the shop I took the truck to hit the ball joints out with a hammer. He wants me to bring my truck to Tire Discounter so that he can have the axle inspected. He wants me to pay to have it towed there even though Tire Discounter has already shorted me close to $8000. I followed the request in the response to this review below and received this news this morning. This issue was unresolved and I do not recommend Tire Discounter to anyone that values their time, hard earned money, and vehicle. They will damage your car and then deny responsibility. This has been reported to the Better Business Bureau. -- This is a working review, and I will update it accordingly. --

I used to always go here and let them put my tires on my Model Y Tesla and then I’d get my usual tire rotation and balance done randomly when needed but not this time which I was quoted $38 for since I had a business account. These people told me they couldn’t do it because I needed all new tires. It basically gave they didn’t care to help service my car as if they were a bit envious. (They were staring at me like I didn’t belong there tbh.) Then they print me up this expensive list of tires like really? Bye. I feel like these company’s should be ashamed always trying to upsell people especially women by themselves like do you really think I was just going to take y’all’s word?? So I go up to Walmart where they are much more friendlier and the mechanic checks my tires and say they’re good to go except for one. (Which I was told this as well by another guy at the car wash I stopped by before actually going to Walmart). I just wanted another professional opinion. So all in all I saved money because I only needed to buy one tire and I will be getting my tires rotated and balance this Tuesday no thanks to this MONEY HUNGRY ESTABLISHMENT!!! Won’t have to worry about me coming back here ever. Have a blessed one.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tire Discounters

How do I know if I need an alignment?

The #1 cause of uneven or rapid tire wear is misalignment. Your vehicle also may pull to one side or feel "loose" when steering, and you might even observe a drop in fuel economy. Alignment is critical to tire life and vehicle safety. In fact, if you install new tires on a misaligned vehicle, some manufacturers won't even honor your tire warranty. Everyday driving, potholes, hard turns, and sudden stops, gradually knock your wheels out of alignment. This wear is natural, but it can quickly chew through your tires. That's why Tire Discounters includes a FREE alignment ($129.99 value) when you purchase 4 tires installed. It's just another way we help you get more life (and more value) out of your tires.

How do I get a free alignment?

At Tire Discounters, when you purchase any 4 tires with installation, you get a FREE alignment. A 4 wheel alignment is valued at $129.99, and comes with a 12 month warranty.
