  I made a big mistake by not checking the price before I had these folks replace my headlight bulbs. (I was in a hurry after work!) Maybe this review will keep you from doing the same thing. It was shockingly expensive to replace two headlight bulbs on my Rav4. They charged me $194.31 to replace two halogen bulbs. It took them 5 minutes to do this. I called Toyota the next day and they would charge $134.27 for the same thing, before my discount. So, I called Performance Tire back and asked them if they made a mistake. Nope! So, they are higher than Toyota and would not match them. They explained that the shop rate was .75 hours for the installation which was $109.00. Nothing they can do about this. Oh, and I went there because of Costco recommendation.

  Picture it: Its past noon on a Friday and you find a chonky screw in your tire and it definitely has a slow leak going on. You decide to go see if Joanie and Joe at Performance Tire and Service Center would be able to help you, because you got new tires from them, and they're been great! You walk in, say hello to the shop doggy, and Joanie greets you and says they are full-up for the afternoon that I should maybe try Mavis Tire so you can get it taken care of before closing—but if they cannot help you to call back and maybe they can squeeze you in at the end of day. So you call Mavis, make an appt., wait an hour, go by there, then the guy walks out, checks how much tread you have, then says your tires have tire rot (he points to the non-existent cracks in your treads to show you) He says tire rot voids the warranty on the patching. You look at him and questions your sanity a bit, because you know what tire rot looks like, so you tell him thank you but yeah, you aren't selling me any new tires, thanks, bye. So you call Joanie and pleadingly beg them to help cause you just almost got shystered. She says not a problem, come by at 4, we will squeeze you in! Now THAT is customer service and caring about people—a quality to be lifted up and praised in this day and age. And did they confirm my tire was free of tire rot? Hells yeah they did. I was in at 4 and gone on a perfectly good tire toot-sweet. Thank YOU ALL for your kick-ass, prompt and considerate service!
