We reserved a Premium SUV to accommodate our large family for out of town traveling a month in advance. When we arrived at our pick up time we were told they did have a vehicle for us despite our reservations. When I called earlier in the day to see when’s the earliest we could pick up we were told the vehicle will be in by 7 and they needed to detail so it should be ready by 8 or close to our pick up time which was 9. So imagine our surprise and frustration being told they have no vehicle for us when we were supposed to be traveling in a few hours. We never received a call in advance stating that they didn’t have the vehicle or even offer a similar vehicle. This trip was important to our family for different reasons and now it has been ruined. I wouldn’t advise anyone to rent from here. Thanks Alamo
- JDJennie Leigh DePaulNov 21, 20255.0Great experience renting a car. I arrived on a late morning flight and waited in line at the counter less than 10 minutes to receive my keys. The car lot is about 25 yards away from the arrivals area and baggage claim. The mid-size vehicle I was originally assigned was very clean, but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and made me feel ill. When I asked the lot manager if any other vehicles were available, I was offered a RAV 4 hybrid, which was very clean, did not smell like smoke, and ran beautifully over the 400 miles I drove. I think it had only about 20,000 miles on it. The lot manager and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Return process was swift and easy - just follow the signs to rental car return once at the airport.
