I have been visiting this auto repair shop continuously for exactly two years. Until now, I had been very satisfied.
A year ago, due to an electrical issue with my headlight, the headlight connector was replaced; however, the problem remained unresolved. A year has passed since then, and I have gone through bulb after bulb. I paid the diagnostic fee once again for the very same issue, and—once again—they proposed the exact same solution. When I asked the customer service representative—insisting on the point—why they were proposing the same solution for the same problem that hadn't been fixed previously, and whether they were sure this would work, they treated me as if I were an idiot and, on top of that, presented me with a quote charging double the standard labor fee. Although I was displeased with their attitude toward me, I accepted the terms and told them, "Fine, go ahead and start the work." However, maintaining their negative demeanor, the representative then informed me—this time with feigned regret—that the technician had unfortunately started working on another vehicle and that they wouldn't be able to attend to my car until the end of the day. I have been coming to this service center for two full years, but I will never return again. Your customers are not required to be experts in cars or engines; even if the questions they ask seem foolish to you, you are obligated to answer them with respect and patience. If you are incapable of doing that, then you have no business being in this line of work. The ironic part is that when I brought my car here today for my appointment, my left headlight was working. However, they performed a diagnostic—and, assuming I would accept their exorbitant quote—they removed the bulb and failed to put it back in. This is an incredibly terrible experience. They have effectively broken a headlight that was working just moments ago. I sincerely hope that the reason behind this poor and negative attitude of Jeremy and the customer support guy is not my accent, ethnicity or anything of that nature.
