When I walked in, there were 2 employees walking around smoking vapes and generally just looking like they had nothing to do. Once they decided to stop ignoring me, it took them 10 minutes to find my “reservation”.The first thing he said was “can I have your keys? (Never give up your keys until everything is agreed on). I asked him how long it would take to change the oil and check the brakes. He said “at least an hour”. I asked him if they could not check the brakes and just change the oil and asked how long that will take. He said “at least an hour”. I asked him if it was possible to change the oil in less than an hour, he said no, it would take at least an hour. I left and came to Precision Tune Autocare, 500 feet down the road, without an appointment. I walked in and asked if they could change my oil. They said yes. I asked how long it would take. They said 20 minutes at most. They pulled the car in, changed the oil, didn’t try to upsell me on everything they had, and I paid and left in 20 minutes. Rob

No issues with the tires or wheel alignment, but the sales person was extremely pushy trying to say full brake replacement (brake pads and rotors) was needed. The technician said the original brake pads were front 40% and back 60% worn. It makes absolutely no sense to replace original brake rotors BEFORE the original ceramic brake pads are completely worn. Mavis quoted an additional $1.2k for this unnecessary service. I’d recommend giving your money to a local business where it’s probably cheaper and at least they won’t try to upsell you on “corporate recommendations”.
