When I handed her my debit, she informed me I needed a credit card since it’s a one way trip. Confused, I opened the policy and didn’t see where it stated that. When I had 2 different employees read it, they could not find anywhere where it stated that. The manager there then says “even if it’s not stated, it’s a group policy and this group doesn’t allow it.” So when I asked him how would I know that, he said if I was to call to make a reservation. I said “I made the reservation for the app, it doesn’t state it anywhere in there?” He replies “no ma’am.” When I asked for him to show me where it says that in the policy, he states he doesn’t know where he would find it. So I was absolutely clueless about this “policy” and had no way of knowing. I have a flight in Nashville that I was driving the car too. One of the workers told me to go to tj maxx and they could give me a credit card… I was literally sitting outside on the ground in tears from frustration. They wouldn’t take my dads credit card because he couldn’t come in person. I had ubered there and they just expected me to uber back home with no rental car. My reservation was at 9:30, I didn’t get the car till 11:30. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with them so far and I’ve rented from there at least 3 other times.
