  What a fantastic place to have your car, truck, van or SUV serviced. Friendly and professional staff that care about your needs and willing to go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. And be patient with how bust these guys can be. Because when you do a great job, everyone wants to be at the best place right? If you're in Chelsea, Alabama or the surrounding area, Mavis Tire is the best place to go for all your auto repair needs!!!

  I was having a hard time keeping air in two of my tires and my steering would pull to the left. A coworker recommended Mavis Tires & Brakes in Chelsea so I stopped by after work. Sheldon and Richard went above and beyond to get my car back on the road. I got all 4 tires replaced at an unbeatable price, a wheel alignment I desperately needed, and I was in and out in a flash! I definitely recommend Mavis in Chelsea…Sheldon and Richard couldn’t have been more professional and pleasant to work with. Their customer service is a 10/10!! Thanks Guys!!!

  My name is James Morgan. I went to the Mavis tire today in Chelsea with two tires that I had mounted but my compressor would not air up. I asked the guy behind the counter if they could help me out and he said sure…..when they were free. Ten minutes later the young guy put both tires on the machine and aired them up……less than 10 minutes total. I loaded them and to be nice went in and asked if I could pay something . He processed it and handed me a bill for $26 dollars. The sign behind the counter said their labor fee was $158 an hour. I pointed out that 10 minutes would not average to $26 dollars. He just shrugged. I didn’t get his name, he is employee 00004 on the invoice. A medium age white guy with a multi colored goatee. Moral of the story. Expect the employees to be nice but question their prices…….they don’t seem to follow their pricing standards. PS I have the receipt if anyone wants to see it.   My first experience here and they were so helpful! Woke up to a tire that was leaking air so I stopped in here to have them take a look, and turns out I had a screw in it. Sheldon and Tim got me right in and fixed it right away. Didn’t have to wait long at all. Super happy they are open on Sunday’s too so I didn’t have to wait the rest of the weekend when it could have gotten worse leaking air all weekend. Definitely recommend these guys!

  I am a big believer in supporting local business, so when it came time to buy new tires for my truck, I reached out to Mavis in Chelsea. They have good reviews for a reason. The price was fair and they took care of me very quickly. Wesley was awesome. He walked me through every step of the process. I know a little something about tire and brake service, so I knew he was shooting me straight. Every product he recommended was spot on and reasonably priced. Before recommending new rear brakes - which I already knew I needed - he took me to the shop and showed me their condition and explained why they were necessary. It was refreshing to deal with someone who was honestly concerned about safety and not just going for the up-sale. I've dealt with numerous shops who are just trying to wring every dollar they can get from customers. I'm glad I chose Mavis. Wesley was super nice and very professional. It was a wonderful experience. From watching their interactions with other customers, it's obvious they place a lot of value in customer service. I'm a customer for life.
