This afternoon, I found myself in a bind, and after calling a few places in the area with no luck, Mr. Rumore and the team at Southern Armature Works did not hesitate to assist me–even though they do not normally offer a mobile service. CA came to the rescue in no time, absolutely going above and beyond. Their generosity and kindness truly came from the heart, and I am so grateful for their help. It’s rare to find people in business today who genuinely care–they are a true blessing to Birmingham. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for going the extra mile!
- RMRobert MurrayApr 6, 20265.0I was traveling from Auburn, AL to Nashville, TN on Thursday (prior to Good Friday). My Ram 1500 radiator developed a pretty good size crack. I called Southern Armature and they said they had a replacement radiator and could replace it, however they were closing in 2 hours and would not be open on Good Friday. I drove there and one of the family members committed to working over to get me back on the road. They actually finished about 45 minutes early. They are a family owned business and they CARE. They were courteous, welcoming and as importantly, they were competitively priced. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I brought my work truck by after showing signs of a coolant leak (this truck has been running poorly with little power for 2 years now) and they had me fixed up in a few hours. The best part however, is they caught a few simple things that no other mechanic has caught (and I have seen 2 or 3) and they fixed those small things easily. My truck is now running better than it has in 2 years, not missing power anymore, all because they were diligent.
