- AAAshley4 days ago5.0I was in dire need of a master BMW mechanic and happened to walk by and see James Automotive… I walked inside and was greeted with such professionalism and kindness by the owners and decided to leave my car with them, and knew they had a shop I could trust by the way I was treated and the advice that was given. They not only diagnosed the problem, but also fixed it!!! I’m so grateful of the work they did, I would rate on a scale of 1-10, a perfect 10 for everything that they did, as well as a 10 on their employees and how experienced they were as well. Thank you everyone at James Automotive for being the best shop in Birmingham you can find. They work on foreign and domestic cars, which, in my opinion is the best of both worlds! Bring your car here for sure!

As I arrived in Birmingham the night before my appointment my check gages light came on showing low oil pressure. I called 6 different shops to have it checked. Sorry we are busy, sorry we dont service vehicles that old, sorry we don't service Dodge. When you are 3.5 hours from home this can be very overwhelming for a 63 yrs old woman. From the moment I walked in they made me feel like everything would be okay. After checking things out it was the sensor and not the oil pump. I was back on the road in a couple of hours. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their vehicle looked at. Thank you James and Suzanne for helping this old lady out you are awesome.
