Simple $30 or so part and a few minutes of time has made me a completely dissatisfied Customer. After being put off for Thanksgiving and then Christmas, not getting car back for almost 2 weeks after promised, I did not complain. They worked on my hood and it no longer stays open. Worked before and after the accident, but not now. Told me it wore out! This is a part I can replace myself and will do so. Lost a repeat, long term customer over something so simple. Yes, I will tell everyone I ever recommend that I no longer trust you.

Customers deserve to understand that DRP shops are financially incentivized to follow insurer cost-control directives, favor repair over replacement, and minimize documentation of safety or mechanical disputes. In my case, this meant: • A damaged wheel being pushed for repair instead of replacement • Tire mismatch and drivetrain safety concerns being minimized • A low cosmetic bumper estimate (~$700) that did not reflect OEM-equivalent restoration • Safety and mechanical concerns not being documented in writing That is not “spam” — that is a legitimate customer experience. Posting this publicly is intended to help other consumers understand how DRP collision chains operate so they can make informed decisions about where to take their vehicle after an accident.
