The manager told her, “No more mechanical work today,” as if patching a tire is mechanical work. It’s a quick fix that could have easily been handled. Instead of helping her, they just put air in the tire (while it was still audibly leaking!) and sent her on her way. No offer to help further, no direction to a nearby shop — nothing. She was left scrambling to find someone else before the tire went completely flat and she got stranded. This isn’t just bad customer service — it shows a real lack of concern for someone in a vulnerable situation. She's a young woman, clearly in need of help, and they chose convenience over basic decency.
