  well, I was headed out of town for an interview for a new job. The company that was interviewing me ordered a standard size car. The car was too small and very uncomfortable one of the clerks that was on Staff did her best to try and help me but the only cars that were there were too small and uncomfortable. I made the best of it, but I hairy up and brought the car back immediately. I only kept it for one day little less than one day.

  Made reservations, Rented a mid size car( got a Mazda AWD black). It was only one person working behind desk 6:40 am , other staff came in and immediately got there pads and started moving the line ( awesome team work) . Fish( staff) explained each part of the agreement to me throughly. He did not rush me and allowed me to ask questions. I returned the car that night and was I surprised, it took every bit of 5 min. I pulled up and staff was there to check the car and I paid and was on my way. They had such a sense of humor. I forgot I had a rough day.

  I’m giving two stars. However, I didn’t have any issues with the staff. The customer service aspect was just fine. I Got in and out easy. My issue was the options available for premium rental. Considering I paid close to $500 for 2 days and I got a Jeep Wrangler as a premium rental. I was disappointed and somewhat upset because I booked several in advance for reason. IMO, unless you confirm ahead of time that you’re going camping, off roading or hiking. That’s Hardly what I would consider a premium rental by any stretch of imagination. I certainly didn’t plan to be bouncing around in a lifted Jeep for two days straight.

  I had a rental my wife had to use in one city but I flew to another city to speak at an event. I had reservations with Enterprise in the other city but when I tried to rent they said it was Enterprise’s policy to not allow customers to rent two vehicles at the same time. There is NOTHING stated anywhere about this policy. It cost me $700 to rent a car I used for thirty hours with Payless. Be WARNED!

  10/18 after having a customer service failure over the fence at Hertz/Dollar, I was able to book a car rental via Priceline just over at Enterprise. Just a short walk from the terminal to the car rental center, there were two enterprise employees assisting customers, both who for the duration of my short 15-20minutes there kept their composure positive and professional the whole time. Like me, there were multiple customers who arrived, also inconvenienced by the BHM Hertz/Dollar rent-a-car team, some customers did not show the Enterprise team patience however these 2 kept their cool. Shout out to LJ! She personally assisted me, did not try to upsell any additional coverage, although I asked to add LDW and roadside assistance, she was delighted to add it for me, and even provided her recommendations on her favorite BBQ places as a local. She turned my day around and I’m so appreciative of her. She also hooked it up with a very nice rental. Thank you LJ!!!
