I walked into this store to,buy break pads for my hrv Honda. There were no employees visible except for a cashier who was tending a client. I waited and then I noticed a young man, Rodrigo, approach. I asked if he would be able to help and he did not respond, but merely walked to a register. I asked it that meant that he would and he did not respond but merely looked annoyed. I stated that what I was looking for and again, no responses. My interaction with him was like pulling teeth. He then showed my a screen and I told him I was not knowledgeable with whatever he wanted me to see. I also let him know that there were other AutoZone as well as other auto parts store I could visit if he was not happy attending me.
A young lady by the name of I believe, Yvonne or saw my interaction and proceeded to rescue me. She took great care of me, and was a pleasure to do business with.
I asked for a supervisor to file a complaint about Rodrigo’s lack of customer skills, and I was directed to Patricia, who I believe is the manager. I informed her of my negative experience with her employee and that I would be filing posting a complaint on social media.
I also addressed Rodrigo, in Spanish, and told him he needed to work on his interactions with the public.
