Due to the number of family members traveling, we wanted the largest vehicle and most comfortable vehicle possible. Alamo Birmingham Airpot came through. The Jeep Wagoneer was everything we could hope for. The only thing better were the Alamo Team members who assisted us. Katrice check us in and give us the vehicle. She went over all aspects of the rental agreement, especially those areas I had questions about and made me feel very comfortable with the rental. Upon our return there were a few issues we had with the vehicle and I spoke with Shante Turner, she was super helpful, professional, understanding, and worked with us on the issues with the vehicle. I would definitely rent from them again.

- PRPeter RuzichOct 22, 20251.0Stay Away from Alamo – Worst Rental Experience of My Career As a well-traveled professional who has rented cars thousands of times worldwide, I can confidently say that Alamo is one of the most dysfunctional organizations I’ve ever encountered. Their customer service is dismissive, unprofessional, and shows zero appreciation or respect for their customers. The vehicle I was given had no GPS, and the mobile connectivity didn’t work because the system failed Google and Apple compatibility tests. To make matters worse, the car smelled strongly of urine, and I even discovered a hypodermic needle under the seat. When I contacted customer service, I was told they “don’t care” if my devices won’t connect, and they suggested I simply discard the needle because “the cars are cleaned after every use.” Completely unacceptable. Never again.
