  My family and I have been using this Enterprise location for the past two years. Under the previous management, the team was consistently friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They made the rental process smooth and treated customers with respect. Unfortunately, our experience with the current management and staff has been very different. The atmosphere now feels unwelcoming, and interactions have come across as rude and condescending. Customers are often not greeted upon entering, which sets a negative tone from the start. There also seem to be policies or “rules” enforced that are not clearly communicated or outlined anywhere. This creates confusion and frustration, especially when expectations are not made clear in advance. Additionally, the location frequently runs out of vehicles and, at times, stops answering the phone. This results in customers arriving for scheduled pickups only to be told that no vehicles are available. While inventory shortages can happen, the previous management team was proactive in locating vehicles at nearby locations and assisting customers with alternatives. The current team does not appear to take the same initiative or ownership in resolving these issues. Overall, this location’s level of customer service has significantly declined, which is disappointing given how positive our experiences used to be.

  It is obvious that the Bessemer, Alabama location is being severely damaged by its current management. The problems here are not subtle, and they are not minor. I have witnessed this manager’s openly dismissive, paranoid, passive aggressive, rude and micromanaging behavior toward both staff and customers.This type of attitude creates a hostile atmosphere that is impossible to ignore. Leadership should prioritize accountability and strong customer service but instead, here, it reflects poor judgment and a lack of professionalism and that kind of environment create low morale, drive customers away and can create serious liability for a company. Extreme mental health issues paired with rudeness and Napoleonist syndrome is a horrible (and detrimental) combination for a management role. Corporate leadership needs to step in before these actions escalates further. If you want to interact with good people with great service, go to the Tuscaloosa, Airport or Hoover locations. That is where all the good ones are. BTW, there’s no way these recent “good” reviews are authentic. .
