John did a great job fixing the problem and installing the battery correctly. I told John as I was leaving that "you are the best employee I have had an experience with at this store". From what I can gather from previous experience is there is a management problem at this location as I have seen positions posted for the same location. Advance Auto Parts Corporate....John needs to be moved up to a leadership role so he can fix some problems....especially regarding employee tool access. One a previous visit to this same location, the employees didn't have access to a standard wrench so I could remove the tag bolts on my car with me. I had to buy one.🤯 Thank you John for taking care of me today. You have renewed my opinion of Advance Auto Stores in Lee County...as all of them have been less than stellar. Maybe I am just biased as a female owner of a repair shop in Montgomery. The Advance on Atlanta Hwy by Mount Meigs was the best. Would love to have that same experience at the Advance stores wherever I may need to visit. Promote John @ the College Street Auburn location!!!!! 😊

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
