  Couldn’t have been a nicer experience. It was smooth, easy, and so quick to check in and out. The vehicle was perfect for my needs and in excellent condition. Given the rainy environment I was surprised there were no mats on the floor, but it made no difference to my experience.

  I rented a car from Juneau enterprise in April. My in laws had rented there last year and had told me that after the left they were called and charged a pet cleaning fee - they had no animals in the car, the only pet hair could have come from clothes. Knowing this, I took pictures of the interior when I left the car early in the morning. Again, no animals ever were in the car. Admittedly there was quite a bit of dirt on the door jams and floorboards, it rains frequently there. I dropped my keys and got on my first flight. On my layover I received a call from heather telling me that due to excessive pet hair they would be charging me the cleaning fee. I explained that no animals had been in the car and asked for pictures of the excessive pet hair. I also shared that I had taken pictures and that I was aware of this practice. Later in the day I received the pictures, there were maybe 4 or 5 pet hairs present and dirt on the floor mats. I replied to her email asking for her managers info as well as corporate info. I have never heard back from her. When my credit card statement arrived they had rolled both the rental fee and cleaning fee together. I called them and left a message, no one returned my call. I called again and spoke to the girl at the counter. I asked for the manager, I was told she wasn't available. I explained my situation and requested that while we are settling this matter I would like them to separate the charges so that I can pay the rental fee which I do owe. She said she didn't think they could do that locally, corporate might need to. I told her that was fine as long as it was done. I asked for a call back from the manager. 2 weeks later I still have not heard back. I'm trying to be reasonable but it appears that this is their way of making some extra money and that customer service after the rental is not a priority. Is this a company practice???
