I had my valid driver’s license and proof of my confirmed return flight, which are the only requirements listed on Enterprise’s own policy for debit card rentals. However, the agent refused to complete the rental because I didn’t have my company ID badge — something that is not stated anywhere in Enterprise’s official policy. I explained that it was a working flight, not leisure travel, and that I had proper documentation, but he still declined. To make matters worse, I had spent $45 on an Uber to get to this specific location and back, only to walk away empty-handed. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially because I’ve rented with Enterprise MANY times before without issue. If Enterprise requires additional documentation for airline crew members, that information needs to be made clear upfront on the website and in booking policies. Otherwise, customers like me are wasting time and money due to unclear and inconsistently enforced rules.
