I’ve never felt so taken care of by a Manager and his team!!! I’m a single 60 year old female and they not only helped me calm…they’re installing my battery for me!! AAA would only jump or tow me as it’s Saturday! I opted for jump and came straight here! Thank you!!!

Went in this evening for a free check engine diagnostic after work, and got much more than I bargained for. Allen and his trainee were both incredibly helpful. Not only did I receive the diagnostic I needed for my check engine light (engine misfire, darn!), I also received several suggestions and was referred to a specific location to get it resolved. Additionally, there was a bit of troubleshooting, and overall just a wonderful and pleasant experience that I was not anticipating. It was, however, truly appreciated. Keep up the great job guys, and shoutout to the trainee-sorry I did not catch your name but you’re doing great, just give yourself some grace and patience and you’ll be fine. This won’t be the last new job you have, and it’s never a great feeling of “not knowing” something, but just take your time and it’ll all come together!

The manager Matt (short big guy) needs a new job. He is absolutely miserable and tries to take it out on the customers. 1 star instead of 0 because Allan is very nice and more helpful. Matt has no business being a manager.

I ordered a hub assembly through the AutoZone app. It said 2-day shipping, so I expected it quickly. After 4–5 days, I heard nothing. The app still said “Ready to Ship.” On day 6, I called my local store, and they told me since it was an online order, I had to call the 1-800 number. When I did, customer service said the order was still pending shipment. I told them to cancel it, because I needed the part and couldn’t keep my vehicle sitting. They said okay. So I ordered the same part from another place. A week later, the AutoZone app still showed “ready to ship.” I called again, and they told me they didn’t cancel it because they “thought it might be on the way.” The app still said otherwise. I told them again — cancel it. That same day, I got a notification saying it had finally shipped — after I already canceled it twice. Now I had to wait for it to arrive just to return it. Total waste of time. When I brought it back to the store, the manager took it but refused to refund the shipping fee. I called to cancel before it shipped, and it’s somehow my fault they didn’t process it? The manager didn’t seem to care at all and just processed the return without the shipping refund. I used to work for AutoZone years ago when they actually cared about their customers — not just corporate profits. This experience was disappointing from start to finish. This was my last time with AutoZone. I’m switching to O’Reilly’s — they may not have a fancy app, but at least they know what they’re doing.
