Blew a belt in 1 of my tires on hwy 2, i had a spare tire and rim with me but locking nut stripped and couldnt get it free. Kal tire couldn't get me in so went to fountain and got me in within the hour. Swapped the wheel out and got the lock free without stripping it completely. Charged me $20 for the swap. Was very happy and would recommend looking for tire related services etc.

We brought our truck to Fountain Tire to have four new tires installed and to diagnose why the check engine light was on and why the fuel gauge wasn’t working. We paid $137 for the diagnostic. Fountain Tire diagnosed the issue as a faulty fuel pump, so we booked it back in for the repair. We had the fuel pump replaced and the tires installed. When we went to pick up the truck, we paid almost $900. Once we got to the truck, the check engine light was still on and the fuel gauge still wasn’t working—the exact same issues we brought it in for. We went back inside, and a staff member rescanned it and said it was now showing a code related to communication with the body control module. They recommended we take it to Chevy to have the BCM reset. We paid $160 at Chevy for the reset, and nothing changed. The check engine light is still on, and the fuel gauge still does not work. When we returned to Fountain Tire again hoping they would make it right, they looked for wiring damage but found nothing. No refund was offered for the incorrect diagnosis or the fuel pump that was not actually needed. On top of all this, after the BCM reset, our tire sensors no longer work, and now the truck says “Service Tire Monitoring System.” This was not an issue before, and now we have an additional problem that we didn’t have when we first brought it in. We are extremely disappointed to have spent almost $1,400 and have the vehicle not only unfixed, but worse than before. We trusted the diagnosis, paid for the repair, and received no resolution

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
