  So, i will start by saying im a senior female who did an incredibly stupid thing by pulling out of a parking spot where there was no car in front of me except that is for a cement base of a Light standard …scraped the entire length of my car from front to back … sickening as there was not one scratch on my 8 year old honda fit So went to Boyds for an appraisal explaining this was not on insurance, they were so professional, kind, courteous and understanding. Then i got another appraisal done in sherwood park not mentioning the name and they quoted nearly five thousand more for the same job! Needless to say i went back to Boyds! They did a fantastic job and my car looks perfect and its got a guarantee to boot. Moral of my story get more than one appraisal and read the reviews! I think that this auto body shop is fair and honest which is hard to come by these days Ps Olivia at the front desk is a very special person!

  I had a disappointing experience with Boyd's Autobody in Sherwood Park. I confirmed an appointment by phone for July 9th to have a glass coverage claim handled. However, when I arrived, I was told the appointment was only “tentative” and that it hadn’t been confirmed—despite the fact that I did confirm it by phone. Because they hadn’t properly recorded the appointment, the required part was never ordered. As a result, what should have been a simple glass replacement ended up taking over a week to complete. As it turns out I was told they subcontract out their glass work and that was part of the delay. Had I known that before I would have gone to a glass company in the first place Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this business based on my experience.

  I am incredibly grateful for the kindness I was shown at Boyd today. It’s not just that they demonstrated compassion for my unfortunate situation, the staff at Boyd was also highly professional, scheduled me in with no delay, and provided truly impressive workmanship (I think my words were, “Are you kidding me!?” 🤩 when I walked up to my vehicle), but the kindness, that is always worth mentioning!

  Poor service, definitely shows they work for your insurance company - not for you. I was not happy right from the start, chose to go to another location for my service, especially after reading reviews. Night and day service wise, completely worth the drive to avoid these guys.
