Always very nice, and if a place has a wait, chances it’s worth going to.

I was initially approved for full coverage insurance, then it had to be sent to the underwriters, it came back that they would only be offering me basic coverage due to failure to disclose a speeding ticket.. a ticket that is off my record in six months and I genuinely forgot about it. When I rebuttled that it wasn't ill intentional forgetting the ticket, it was genuinely just poor memory, they said they would be sending it to management to have it reviewed. 23 days later, management replied that they would still not be offering me full coverage. I do not have a poor driving record or major at fault accidents on my record. I am a paying AMA member who has been licensed for 14 years. To go from saying yes here we can insure you to completely backing out is one thing. But taking 50 days to come to a conclusion is a completely different situation. Very poor customer service. And obviously a risky insurance company to get in bed with. On top of this, the advisor missed our initial meeting and didn't reach out to me until I called and emailed, reaching out. Very poor experience with AMA. As an insurance company representing out province, do better.

Impossible to get a hold of. Tells you to stay on the line to speak to an agent but they send you straight to voicemail.

Only 1 driver in our area, impossible to book or communicate with her. She makes kids feel anxious and uncomfortable in the car.she also cancels lessons out of spite even when told not to and when she cancels due to personal reasons she will not rebook. You have to wait months to get in again. Another disappointments You cannot use the trainers car for your exam. The training cost is one of the highest in town. There is no support from the main company to deal with any of the issues with the trainer and so far no refund or compensation for the unbookable lessons. The only reason I got an AMA membership was for both my kids drivers training, I would never use them for roadside they are one of the slowest for response time. I'll update if things change. Ive spoken to a few other schools in town they seem much better and you can write your test in the car you learn in.

I had some questions about currency exchange. I called AMA, the person on the phone Eden was amazing. I can't say enough good things about how kind, non-judgemental and helpful they were. Answered all my questions and the questions they didn't know she put me on hold and got the answers! Amazing. The exchange rate AMA offers to change CND to VND was terrible. The cost to change $2000 cnd to vnd was going to be $316. Looking elsewhere but the phone service exceptional by Eden. Well done!!
