You pay for roadside assistance for years just in case and then when you need it you're left in a frozen car for hours with no way to get in contact with them and just get a message that they have above normal call volume and will text you when they are on the way

I had a great experience at the AMA West Office thanks to Charlotte Turvey.
Charlotte was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. She took the time to clearly explain all the insurance options available to us, making sure we fully understood the coverage, deductibles, and details before making a decision.
What I appreciated most was her transparency and calm approach — she never rushed us and answered every question thoroughly. It’s rare to find someone who combines efficiency with genuine customer care the way she does.
If you’re looking for someone reliable and trustworthy at AMA, I highly recommend asking for Charlotte. She made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.
Thank you again!

I was initially approved for full coverage insurance, then it had to be sent to the underwriters, it came back that they would only be offering me basic coverage due to failure to disclose a speeding ticket.. a ticket that is off my record in six months and I genuinely forgot about it. When I rebuttled that it wasn't ill intentional forgetting the ticket, it was genuinely just poor memory, they said they would be sending it to management to have it reviewed. 23 days later, management replied that they would still not be offering me full coverage.
I do not have a poor driving record or major at fault accidents on my record. I am a paying AMA member who has been licensed for 14 years.
To go from saying yes here we can insure you to completely backing out is one thing. But taking 50 days to come to a conclusion is a completely different situation. Very poor customer service. And obviously a risky insurance company to get in bed with.
On top of this, the advisor missed our initial meeting and didn't reach out to me until I called and emailed, reaching out.
Very poor experience with AMA. As an insurance company representing out province, do better.
