  I have rented two vehicles from this location in the past three weeks, and both experiences were extremely frustrating and poorly handled. On both occasions, we were told that the vehicle we reserved was unavailable because it had been returned damaged. While we were waiting, staff gave the same explanation to another customer standing next to us, which made this feel like a routine excuse rather than an isolated issue. We had reserved a minivan, but instead were told we would be getting a smaller vehicle that could not accommodate our passengers or luggage. At one point, they attempted to give us a Mini Cooper for a family airport trip three hours away, which was completely unrealistic. Eventually, they gave us a Dodge Durango, even though a minivan was sitting out front at the time. Staff tried to frame this as an “upgrade,” but it still did not provide the space or functionality of a minivan, which is what we specifically booked. I would have been far happier with honest communication or compensation, rather than being told this was a better option. Both vehicles we were given had gas tanks filled to only about 3/4, which felt intentional and raises concerns about fuel charges when vehicles are returned.The driver side wiper hardly cleared water off the windshield. The office was extremely disorganized, despite having three staff members working. We were initially told there were no suitable vehicles available and left unsure how we would transport our family. After calling Enterprise’s 800 number, the local branch suddenly called us back within 45 minutes, stating that a few cars had just been returned. This directly contradicted what we were told in person and added to the frustration and stress. This location consistently does not honor reservations, provides misleading explanations, and puts customers in difficult situations without offering appropriate solutions or compensation. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location if you need reliability.

  Great service last year after an accident, came to Brooks to drop off and pick up. Maybe it’s the insurance company difference, but someone hit us again this year. We had to find a ride to pick up and drop off in Medicine Hat. Also defended that they’re too cheap to buy vehicles with block heaters nearly unheard of in this province. Inconvenient and indifferent.

  Had to fly into Medicine Hat to get to a job site and needed a vehicle to rent. Enterprise outlet there was excellent to work with. The team that helped me get on the road and was there when I got back was excellent.

  Friendly and welcoming. Rental was clean. The process of inspecting the rental before and after was done efficiently and the employees explained what they were looking for and went over the contract with me answering questions willingly. I did not feel rushed or as though I was inconveniencing them in anyway. Thank You enterprise for a positive experience.
