  I believe the school is good, except for the driving instructor my daughter had Surit. My daughter is a good driver as she’s been driving the full 2 years before taking this course. We only put her in this course to have her insurance rates lowered. Surit was extremely abusive and belittling to my child. Telling my child that she is being nice to her today but will not be next time. Yelling at her for every little thing. Told her she can’t put her seatbelt on with her right hand and has to be the left hand. Wouldn’t allow her to adjust her seat to be in a comfortable position. The instructor Surit told her 3 to 4 driving directions at once. After 3 instructions she forgot the 4th and asked where she should go. She said you should have remembered, next time I will let you get lost! We have all new cars with press button start. My daughter didn’t know where to insert the key and how hard to turn it over. My child didn’t turn it enough the first time. Surit kept yelling at her to just turn it, and then took her hand forcefully over my child’s and turned it on. As previously mentioned my daughter is a very good and confident driver and after leaving her first lesson she was in tears and completely terrified of her next lesson. She also told my daughter she gave her a low grade for not talking! My daughter was confused by that. Not talking about personal stuff or driving things? She was unclear. My daughter did not feel comfortable to drive or speak with her. She also made her drive extremely slow below school zone speeds, 25km in residential. Most residential is 40 or 50km. I understand you want to be cautious but that seems extreme. Also, if she was on her driving test would she be marked lower for driving too slow in a residential area. Surit seemed to make up her own rules. Not the actual road laws. Surit is a horrible instructor. I paid for my child to feel more confident and become a better driver, not to be bullied and belittled. I now have to cancel all her lessons and rebook with another instructor putting her behind months now!! Not impressed! This is also not an isolated issue with my daughter. She was warned by many other classmates and coworkers that Surit is horrible and extremely mean to her students. Unfortunately there was no other instructor available for months. Probably for good reasons!! This behavior is not ok AMA!! How is she still working for you after 9 years!!! We are not paying to have our children abused! DO NOT BOOK WITH SURIT!

  Surit Chouhan, incredibly dangerous student driver. Going 3km/h through a roundabout while slamming the brakes in the middle of it is unacceptable. Are you seriously trying to teach people that is an acceptable way to drive? Someone take away this persons license, and the license of whom they were driving with this morning. You are going to kill someone driving in such a manner.
