well my car left me on the side of the road and i took it here to be looked at. they diagnosed the problem as the timing chain. i ultimately make the choice to take it to a junk yard. they told my brothers that the car will make it to the junk yard. it was a 30 min drive it’s a mechanic saying it why would they question it. the car broke down on the QE2 it was -30 and traffic was insane. we had to tow the car off the road and somewhere to be towed. they sent 2 18 year old boys out there to fend for themselves. i will never be taking any of my future vehicles there again. they didn’t care for the care of their customer. i highly don’t recommend coming here at all.

Darryl at fountain tire Leduc, was phenomenal from the beginning. Making an appointment that worked with my schedule was made easy with Darryl. Once I arrived I was greeted with a smile, assured my vehicle was in and out in a timely matter. Checking out the price was lower then quoted, which come on, we all love when that happens! I will return with future business and tell my family to go see Darryl.

I brought my truck into Fountain Tire for new tires, and when I returned for the retorque, I let them know my TPMS sensors weren’t registering properly. Jorian came out right away and went above and beyond trying to troubleshoot and get them working—he was patient, thorough, and clearly committed to fixing the issue.
When it turned out they needed to be replaced, he kept me fully in the loop, came out multiple times to update me, and checked in to make sure I was comfortable with every step and happy with the outcome.
Jorian’s level of customer service is outstanding, especially for someone working hands-on in the shop. He’s knowledgeable, proactive, and genuinely cares about making sure customers leave satisfied. As a customer, I really appreciated his attention to detail and helpful attitude. Highly recommend this Fountain Tire location.

I was traveling from Lloydminster to Calgary Thursday morning when my truck had a charging system malfunction code pop up when I hit Edmonton. The Voltage was reading low and My boy had a hockey game at 2pm Thursday. I called a couple shops in Leduc and Ben at fountain tire was the only one to offer any assistance. I drove right there and they performed a diagnostic test and checked/tightened any loose connections. He also didn’t charge me anything and I was on my way within an hour. Thanks again fellas ✌🏽
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
