  Would not recommend in any way shape or form. Pickup was ridiculous at the airport and drop off was even worse. Rushed to drop off at the agreed time of 1700 to turn up at 1655 to find nobody there anyway. So i needn't have rushed to get sorted I could have just taken my time and dropped off in the middle of the night as they would have been none the wiser. Greeted with a phone number to get a load of attitude and sass from the woman at the end of the phone culminating in her putting the phone down on me. Turns out (after speaking to Avis) they are only there for pickups. So if you are dropping off take your time as there's nobody there anyway!

  Very Disappointed and Would Not Recommend I had a very disappointing experience with this rental company. After I returned the vehicle (after-hours), I was informed 3 days later that there was a stone chip on the windshield. The charge was applied without any prior notice or proof that the damage occurred during my rental period. I asked repeatedly for photo evidence or check-in documentation showing the damage, but they admitted they do not take pictures of stone chips. Without any clear proof or timestamped inspection, I have no way to verify that I was actually responsible for the damage. Their response was dismissive, and the tone in the final email came across as quite rude and unwilling to help. I understand that rental companies need to protect their vehicles, but this process felt unfair and unprofessional. I would strongly caution others to thoroughly document the car’s condition before and after your rental — especially if you’re returning it outside business hours.

  Excellent customer service from Candice! She took time to recommend hikes and places to visit, and all her suggestions were great. Car was new and all as expected based on our booking.

  DON'T rent a car from their Jasper Canada office. A few days after returning the vehicle our account was debited for towage and a puncture. NOT US. but to late for us to dispute with our bank. And they haven't even had the decency to reply to emails requesting details and a refund. S.R. below did say they would look into it. As did Chris on 5 other of the reviews. I wonder if they did get back to those reviewers. cause they sure as did not get back in touch with me even after sending 4 emails to there customer care department and a email to the Jasper branch owner which leaves us to believe that this is truly a bad company to hire a car from. and we feel sorry for the hard working honest businesses involved in the Jasper tourism industry.

  We received excellent service from this Franchisee on our trip to Jasper. We had one small problem with the car in town and the owner was quick to respond and come to the location to help us out. I would not hesitate to rent a car from National in Jasper.
