I had a very disappointing experience at this shop. My driver went in for a flat tire, but they removed all four tires without asking. When I asked to have my old tires put back, they refused and wouldn’t let anyone else work on them. I ended up paying much more than expected. The service felt unfair, and I will not return to Fountain Tire.

I had a very bad and disappointing experience at this shop. My driver went there only because tire was flat. I expected a quick fix or maybe a simple repair. But instead, they removed all four of my tires without asking me or explaining why they were doing that. When I told them to please put my old tires back on, they refused. They said they couldn’t reinstall them and also didn’t allow anyone else to work on the tires while at their shop. This left me with no choice. I was stuck there and had to changed tires even though I didn’t plan to. Because of this, I ended up paying way more money than I should have. The bill was very expensive for something that started as flat tire. Overall, the service was not fair, and the way they handled the situation made me feel pressured and taken advantage of. I am very disappointed and will not be going back to Fountain Tire again.

Traveling through or living in Hinton, Fountain Tire is the place to go. The owner is amazing and his staff are the best. We've needed them for swap over tires all the way to highway blow outs as far away as Valemount BC .. they always come through Definitely stop in and get your tires/work done here.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
