  renter beware. I needed a vehicle for a couple of days and booked through national. I reserved an ended up getting a smaller SUV. The prices were outrageous, but I needed a vehicle so I took it. I dropped it off a couple of days a couple of days after I drop the vehicle offI got an email from them claiming that there was a$1000 damage to the door. The pictures they sent there’s no question that the damage was a door ding. I know for a fact that I couldn’t have done it as I took the vehicle and went straight to where I was going with no stops. I had the vehicle for the day and a half and was parked. nowhere near another vehicle. I then drove straight from where I was back to the rental place I was not in a parking lot. I didn’t stop for anything except fuel right before I dropped it offso there was no way I could get any type of damage from a parking lot or wherever. When I contacted the office, the lady that I spoke to was extremely rude because I said that I feel like I’m getting screwed because I know it wasn’t me. She tried to claim that I was yelling, but I wasnot because I’m in an office with people in it. No walk around was done with me before or after and when I went to pick up the vehicle they had to fill out a piece of paper because everything was down which I can’t make any of the writing out. She told me because I signed that paper, I was responsible for any damages. More than likely the door thing was done from one of the vehicles parked beside the vehicle before I pick the vehicle up or after I dropped it off in the airport parking lot. Or was done by the person that took the vehicle to clean it afterwards but because no walk around was done with me. I cannot prove it so they’re trying to make me pay. Because of this, I will never use national again. I have rented rental on in the past and have never had these types of troubles. But I can see now that this rental company has star review that I see that it already has.

  Terrible experience. I booked through the national app as I am a regular member and to my surprise when I got there the price was completely different. I reserved the car for 30 hours and My rate went from 40$/day to 89$ PLUS Km. So through my app I was only spending 85$ For the trip. By the time I had returned the car my bill was $300 - for 30 hours. Completely unacceptable. They were lucky they were the only ones available for my 1am landing. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Don’t recommend to anyone. They are a franchise who set their own ridiculous prices.

  Terrible customer service, dirty vehicles (cannot see thru windshield - filthy on inside), promise replacement truck for mechanically faulty truck - no replacement truck at location/time promised, very unfriendly customer service rep.
