- MMMatt MenaneFeb 24, 20261.0I honestly can’t believe how unprofessional AMA was today. I spent over two hours on hold waiting to speak with someone, finally got through to Aaliyah, and still didn’t even receive the quote I was calling about. Completely unacceptable. After that long wait, you would expect some level of efficiency or follow-through. Instead, I was left with no quote, no clear answers, and a total waste of my time. It shows a serious lack of respect for customers. If you value your time, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for insurance. Extremely disappointed with the experience and won’t be recommending AMA to anyone.

Mcmurray and the lady named karina de guzman assisted me with getting the certificates and Alberta health cards. She was amazing and made the process easy, i appreciate her, it is great to have someone in that position who has the experience to make the customers life easy. Thank you Korina De Guzman

Can AMA help me with changing my Alberta Health Care Card?

Will you have another AMA shredding event soon?
This year's shredding events have concluded, but Shredding dates for 2024 will be listed on our website as of March 6. For more information, visit ama.ab.ca/events/shredding.
Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value.
